Phoenix, AZ – Injurious Truck Crash Reported on I-17 Near Northern Ave
Phoenix, AZ (June 29, 2020) – Injuries were reported after a truck accident on Interstate 17 near Northern Avenue on Monday morning.
According to reports from Phoenix police and fire officials, the accident occurred in the left lanes of I-17 northbound near Northern Avenue around 6:00 a.m., blocking all but the right lane. Some victims sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene, though Phoenix fire officials said that at least one person was transported to an area hospital via ambulance. It appears that the accident occurred when a truck and sedan, as well as a motorcycle, collided and caused a chain-reaction accident.
Further details were not immediately available, though authorities are still investigating the collision.
